A magnificent and rare ES101 office chair, also known as the "Intermediate Chair," designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller.
This model is a Mobilier International edition, meaning it was manufactured in France.
Extremely rare, it was only produced for five years, from 1968 to 1974. Production ceased due to excessive manufacturing costs, and it has not been reproduced since.
The Intermediate Chair is considered a hybrid model, combining features of the Executive office chair and the Time Life chair.
This office chair is in very good vintage condition. It has been reupholstered in a beautiful brown, beige, and white woven fabric.
The frame is in very good vintage condition. The model number is stamped under the seat.
