Magnificent ES101 office chair, also known as the "Intermediate Chair," designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in the late 1960s.
This particular chair is a Mobilier International edition, meaning it was made in France.
This model is extremely rare, as it was only produced for five years, from 1968 to 1973. Production ceased due to excessive manufacturing costs.
The Intermediate Chair is considered a hybrid model, combining elements of the Executive Desk Chair and the Time Life Chair.
This chair has been reupholstered in beautiful cognac leather, but the frame remains in its original condition and has not been altered.
It is in very good vintage condition, although the frame shows some signs of wear consistent with age.
