This beautiful oak roller shutter cabinet exudes the atmosphere of old offices and studios from the early 20th century.
You can easily picture it standing next to a writing table with an inkwell and fountain pen, where notes were carefully jotted down and plans were laid out.
The cabinet is crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, which creates the characteristic warm grain pattern.
Behind the smoothly operating roller shutter – fully functional and with its original key – are several wooden shelves (renewed for strength), ideal for storing documents, paper, or personal belongings.
The top drawer features an elegant brass handle with floral decoration, a detail that recalls the transitional period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, when functionality and refinement went hand in hand.
