Looking out over the fields towards Belgium, I work on my art and on my assignments in the studio in the factory village of Budel Dorplein. After my painting studies I decided that I don't want to limit myself to painting as a way of expressing myself. Soon, illustration, photography, writing, 3D and animation were added.
My work is about people, and the world they create around them. Their own world, imaginary and not always tangible. Children often play the leading role. The wonder of the everyday, and trying to convert that amazement into art, that is, as for so many artists, also my mission.
In addition to making autonomous work, I am involved in community art projects and I give policy advice in the field of art and culture.
