The design is attributed by several sources to Kai Kristiansen, who collaborated with Schou Andersen for many years.

The solid teak frame has been carefully restored and oiled, highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
The original beige wool upholstery is in excellent condition and has been professionally cleaned.
