This beautiful dining room set designed by Helga Sibast and produced by Sibast in Denmark around 1960. This beautiful set consists of an extendable dining table and six dining chairs. The table is made of top quality tropical hardwood and can be extended from 120 to 170 to 220 cm using two additional tops. The six chairs, also made of the same wood, are crafted with great attention to detail and still have their original upholstery underneath.
The rounded bars in the backrests add an elegant finishing touch to the design.
With its beautiful and versatile design, this set fits perfectly into any Mid - Century Modern Scandinavian interior. Chair dimensions: 56 x 54 x H. 97.5 (SH. 45) cm Table dimensions: 120-170-220 x 120 x H. 72 cm
The set is in excellent vintage condition, with some wear here and there appropriate to its age and use.
Table: some discoloration can be seen in the extension pieces and some light scratches, but it does not detract from the table. Chairs: the seats have a simple linen colored fabric. however underneath is still the original fabric, this is in vintage condition. The seat of 1 chair needs some extra attention.
