The SM 08 dining set by Pastoe, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, is a characteristic example of Dutch mid-century design. This fully restored set—consisting of an extendable dining table and six matching chairs—combines refined design with high-quality finishes and contemporary seating comfort.
The chairs (model SM 08 – Metal Chair 08) are characterized by their sleek, chrome-plated metal frames and their light, balanced silhouette. For this set, both the seats and backrests have been reupholstered in premium black leatherette (artificial leather). This material beautifully complements the original design, gives the chairs a strong, stylish appearance, and is also durable and easy to maintain.
The matching extendable dining table harmonizes with the chairs. The warm wood veneer combined with the slender metal legs creates a spacious and refined look. Thanks to the practical extension system, the table is easily extended, making it suitable for both everyday use and larger gatherings.
