This plywood sculpture was made by Eames as a leg splint / leg splint for use in the 2nd world war. The edition is limited and this product is numbered on the inside, see photo. It is now seen as a "piece of art", because it was the predecessor of the plywood technique that was later used by Eames in his design furniture. Can also be found as a sculpture in the Vitra museum. The height is 114xcm in total and 20cm wide at the widest point. More background info in the enclosed screenshots from the internet. If the delivery time with courier takes too long, I can deliver the sculpture to the Whoppah showroom in Utrecht.
It is a vintage item in perfect condition with no noticeable signs of damage.
