Launched in 1970 Belux specialises in eco-friendly lighting that is always innovative in concept and aesthetically pleasing in appearance. Japanese-born Naoto Fukasawa is considered one of the most influential product designers of the modern age. His numerous prizes include the iF Gold and American IDEA Awards. The Leia Floor Lamp features a simple but effective design that pays homage to Fukasawa's Japanese roots. Its understated elegance brings harmony to any room setting, whether it's a bedroom, living room or office. The lamp's upper portion is constructed from glass with a frosted opal finish through which the glare-free light gently diffuses. The lower part is transparent and catches the light from above to create the impression that the lamp is floating in its space. The base of the lamp is constructed from high-gloss aluminium. The design is finished with a touch operated dimmer switch allowing for the light's intensity to be adjusted to suit personal preference. The Leia Floor Lamp is available in two sizes. Both have a height of 187.5cm and diameters of either 43cm or 33.5cm.
