In a very good condition with minimal traces of use

This imposing, colorful work was created by visual artist Marijke Gémessy in 1969. On the day after the moon landing it came out of the ceramic kiln and she mounted it hot on wood. In the evening it was handed over to the Nieuwspoort press center in The Hague with a festive drink. The work is made of earthenware with copper and cobalt oxides and transparent glaze. Dimensions approx. 73x73 cm. Marijke Gémessy has a studio in The Hague. This job was an outlier. A letter from her is included confirming the above information.
