Product description
A German brutalist portrait in sculpted, welded, ground, and flamed metal from the 1990s. Clearly influenced by the Russian Avant-Garde/Constructivism movement and the Cubism of Pablo Picasso from the early 20th century. Purchased in Berlin about fifteen years ago. Recently rediscovered and reframed. The frame is made of gilded, champagne-lacquered wood with a patina. Height: 40 cm Width: 27 cm Dated and signed, but I am unable to decipher the signature. Excellent overall condition with some minor signs of age.
