Table lamp designed by Albano Poli for Poliarte, Italy, produced in the 1960s. The geometric structure is composed of fused Murano glass blocks, alternating between a rough, textured "ice" finish and smooth, transparent amber cubes. This specific arrangement creates a distinct contrast in light diffusion: the textured glass scatters the light, while the amber blocks project color. The glass architecture rests on a chromed metal base. As documented in the images, the lamp is shown with both cool (white) and warm (yellow) light bulbs to demonstrate how the glass tones interact with different color temperatures. The lamp can be wired for use in the USA free of charge upon customer request.
A chip is visible in one of the corners, see images.
