“Pistillo” lamp designed by Studio Tetrarch and produced by Valenti in the 1970s, one of the most recognizable examples of Italian radical design applied to domestic lighting.
The structure is composed of multiple curved metal tubular elements radiating from a central body and ending with small chrome spheres. The composition creates a dynamic and organic form reminiscent of a metallic bloom or luminous explosion, giving the lamp a strong sculptural presence even when switched off.
The name “Pistillo” refers to the pistil of a flower: the metal arms open like stamens around the central light source, generating reflections and distinctive light effects. When illuminated, the chrome surfaces reflect the light and produce a soft yet scenographic diffusion.
Designed to be extremely versatile, the lamp can be used as a table lamp, wall lamp or ceiling lamp, adapting easily to different architectural contexts. It uses one E27 bulb.
