The lamp base is made from a distinctive West German pottery vase, likely from the 1960s or 1970s. Typical of this period is its bulbous shape with a handle, as well as the warm, honey- to caramel-colored glaze with subtle drips, creating a vibrant effect.
The cylindrical lampshade is covered with a striking fabric in warm shades of antique rose, orange, brown, black, and ochre. The graphic pattern appears modern yet timeless and harmonizes beautifully with the vase's glaze. The fabric is pleasantly translucent, providing a soft, atmospheric light.

The vase was not damaged. No holes were drilled. The lamp is assembled using a precisely fitting plug-in solution that can be removed without leaving any residue. The opening is neatly sealed, and the base is stable.
