The Moroso Belt modular sofa, designed by Patricia Urquiola, represents a masterclass in contemporary Italian design. This specific configuration, purchased new in 2022, is defined by its sculptural softness and the signature caramel leather strap detailing that gives the model its name.
Configured in a generous L-shape layout, the system features a main seating section measuring 330 centimetres in width and a chaise lounge extending to 175 centimetres in depth, with a comfortable seat height of 40 centimetres. The piece is upholstered in a refined cream cotton and linen blend textile, which contrasts elegantly with the warm brown leather belts that hold the plush cushions in place. The modular nature of the design allows the chaise section to be mounted on either the left or right side, offering significant spatial flexibility.
The sofa is in excellent condition, having been carefully maintained in a non-smoking residence since its original purchase. The cream upholstery retains its clean, original finish, but has become slightly lighter due to sun exposure. The leather straps show the natural, supple character expected from premium materials.
