Beautiful Mid-century 1950s/60s dining room set with Art Deco features. Includes a wide dresser/sideboard and an extendable dining table in mahogany veneer with a high-gloss finish. Manufactured in France and bearing the Ameublement NF quality mark, which guarantees the durable quality of this complete set. Consequently, the quality of these pieces of furniture remains exceptionally good, in original condition and with minimal signs of use, even for their age (see photos).
The 240 cm wide dresser features 5 cabinets, all with original locks and keys. The interior is finished in blond maple veneer. The two left cabinets offer ample storage space with 6 compartments. The middle cabinet features glass shelves and the original mirrored back. The right cabinets also offer sufficient storage space with 3 compartments, 2 drawers, and a drinks cabinet. The legs are tapered and feature decorative moldings and brass supports on the front, giving it a classic look.
The 170 cm dining table also features these decorative moldings and brass supports. With 2 separate sections, this table can be extended to a remarkable 260 cm, providing ample space for 8 to 10 people. The pattern of the inlaid mahogany veneer is repeated in both the table and the sideboard. The high-gloss finish ensures that all the deep shades of the mahogany veneer are shown to their best advantage.
