This vintage kitchen set from Cuisines Keller, dating from 1961, embodies the functional aesthetic of the era. It comprises a sideboard and six matching chairs, offering a complete solution for a retro dining space. This set has always been kept by the same family, the original owners.
The furniture is made of Formica, an iconic material of the period, with a two-tone finish combining a dark gray zebra pattern and a textured light gray.
The interior of the sideboard is clean, with its original, adjustable shelves.
The two sections of the sideboard can be separated.
One of the wooden legs at the back shows some wear, but this does not affect its stability.
The sideboard offers ample storage space with doors and drawers highlighted by gold details.
The matching JPP chairs rest on a chromed tubular metal frame, ensuring both sturdiness and a visually light appearance.
The table needs some work, so it's included with the set (the legs need reinforcing, and there's some play in the fixings). It has a central drawer with a thermoformed plastic cutlery tray and rounded corners, which is original.
It has two 28cm sliding extensions, Italian style.
This set is in good overall condition, retaining its original charm and functionality. It fits perfectly in a vintage-style kitchen or dining room, adding a touch of authenticity and nostalgia to your interior. I haven't found this two-tone gray model anywhere else.
