Koosje van Keulen (Amsterdam 1940) trained at the Rijksnormalschool in Amsterdam. She lives and works in Amsterdam. In the 1960s and 1970s, Koos van Keulen painted portraits and architectural forms in a meticulous realistic style. After a long period of experimenting, she developed a new style in the mid-nineties. Freer and looser. Since then, sandy and ocher tones have predominated in her work.
