Jules Georges Redon, born November 16, 1869 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris and died on January 22, 1943 in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, was a French painter, draftsman, cartoonist, poster artist, engraver and lithographer.
Painting by Georges REDON Although born on Rue de Hauteville, Georges was a child of Montmartre, a neighborhood to which he remained faithful throughout his life. Redon's prints and paintings are regularly exhibited: he can be seen at the Salon des artistes Français, the National Society of Fine Arts, the Salon d'automne (of which he is the founding secretary), the Salon des peintres lithographes in 1909 and 1913 ( where two of his works are acquired by the state). Some paintings by this artist are for sale.Some small stains, but not disturbing
