Hans Vredegoor (1953) studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Arnhem and has been working as a visual artist since 1981.
Vredegoor is a particularly intuitive painter who only has a vague idea of where he wants to go and prefers to wander through his inner world. While working, the distance between artist and work disappears and situations arise (a form, a movement) to which he has to respond. For the viewer who loves the poetry of chance, his work is an interesting journey of discovery. The sensual shapes and soft curves soften the abstraction and sensitively and gracefully depict the essence of man and nature.
The artist has developed his own color palette of colors that he likes to use (orange, purple, poisonous green) in combination with pastel shades.
Vredegoor's work can be found in the collections of companies, private individuals and governments.
