A very large and atmospheric woodcut by Dianne Bakker from 1998. Created using the reduction technique, the woodcut was printed in a very limited edition of only 9 pieces, of which this is number 2. This woodcut is highly representative of her early work and is a must-have for any enthusiast's collection.
The work is titled "Amor Gignit Amorem," which is Latin for "Love breeds love."
The work is in beautiful condition and appropriately double-framed. The inner frame is made of brass, the outer of black wood. The work is in excellent condition, and the frame is also in very good condition.
