DARIO BOSA Fascination with form and expression The talented Dario Bosa was born in Santha Catharina in Brazil in 1958. The artist has been fascinated by form and expression since his youth. At the age of 15, young Dario decided to devote his life to painting and sculpting. The versatile artist does this with great success. His work is shown in galleries in Brazil, England, Germany, France and the Netherlands and belongs to both private and corporate collections around the world. As a great admirer of artists such as Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt and Antoni Tapies, who continue to inspire him to this day, the passionate artist creates impressive works with unique effects. Despite this admiration, the search for original techniques is a challenge par excellence for Dario Bosa. He can spend days and nights experimenting with texture and effects to create the most unique works. Dario Bosa is a true poet on canvas, who is always looking for harmony of form, color, matter and technique. The quality of the composition and balance in his work is immediately noticeable, but it is the inexhaustible search for beauty that makes his work so impressive. The artist manages to almost tangibly immortalize the sultry warmth and rhythm of Brazilian street life in his canvases. Dario Bosa masters several disciplines that he applies successfully. He is best known for his beautiful abstract artworks, but the Brazilian artist has also created a number of beautiful dynamic pieces in which women play the leading role. Characteristic of the expressive work of the passionate artist are the power of color and the rhythm of form. When creating his paintings, the artist uses stretcher frames up to eight centimeters thick, which create three-dimensional art objects. The choice of materials and original techniques in particular characterize the works of art by the Brazilian talent. In his series 'Free Rusty Spirit' Dario manages to transform these techniques into striking compositions. In these works he uses different types of sand from various Brazilian states with different colors and properties. He also uses original 19th century documents, pigments and seals in combination with various types of paint that he applies in different layers. In his series 'Mystic People', Dario Bosa makes compositions of dreaming people in mystical entourages. He mainly works with the palette knife in a simple but refined way. In the works in the series 'Urban People' he processes various materials into sturdy compositions of people in dynamic environments, inspired by his travels through South America and Europe
