The table is in very good condition and was purchased around 2000. It is 100 x 100 cm and 25 cm high.
The flat sofa table Tavolino con ruote is a classic of Italian design and one of the best-known products of the designer Gae Aulenti and of the Italian manufacturer FontanaArte.
The name says it all: Tavolino con ruote means "small table with wheels". The sofa table consists of little more than a glass top with wheels. As a result, the table lies flat on the floor, which opens up numerous new design options for the homely corner sofa.
Tavolino con ruote possesses the urban charm of the unfinished and raw. The reduced design has a timeless and raw elegance. The table top consists of smoothed float glass. The special industrial wheels have black painted metal forks.
Tavolo con ruote was designed in 1980 by the Italian architect and designer Gae Aulenti. Aulenti became famous for her architectural designs. Her Tavolino con ruote is one of her best known in the field of product design.
