Industrial design armchairs model 415/1401 after a design by Wim Rietveld. Manufactured in 1954 by Gispen. The armchairs with bakelite armrests and light gray steel frame have cream and orange upholstery where the back of the backrest is uncoated and the steel remains visible. The armchair no.415 belonged to a series of "furniture for the simple interior" introduced in the 1950s.
Condition: Good condition. The bakelite armrests are flawless, the frame has some signs of use (rusty spots) the original upholstery is in good condition with a few spots.
Dimensions: Wide 62.5 cm, deep 58 cm, height 68 cm, seat height approx 37 cm.
