Product description
Elegant glazed earthenware condiment jars from the German Waechtersbach factory, dating from 1900-1915, model/decoration "Dec.1393" in the Jugendstil style. Decorated on three sides with a superb Art Nouveau motif of large blue poppies and their foliage within a stylized floral frame, the main sides bear an inscription indicating the contents: "Flour," "Rice," "Pasta," or "Tapioca." Original lids complete the set.
9.7 cm square, 18.5 cm high with the lid and 14.9 cm without. Very good overall condition, with only a few rare and discreet signs of use. Note a network of patinated cracks on one of the lids; however, it is not broken. Approximately 850 g.
