Vitra ID Trim L — Designed by Antonio Citterio The high version of the Vitra ID office chair, with a leather headrest and polished aluminium base. In excellent condition. Vitra developed the ID Chair Concept together with Antonio Citterio and released it in 2010. It is a modular system: a single base chair that can be assembled into thousands of variants using different backrests, mechanisms, bases, and fabrics, without the chair looking substantially different. The Trim is the variant with a tufted back; the L is the high version of this with a headrest, intended for executive and management offices. What you pay for with this version is in the details. The backrest features a sandwich construction with integrated lumbar support: the comfort of an upholstered back, but almost as slim as a mesh back. The headrest is finished in leather and is height-adjustable. The base is polished aluminium instead of plastic — a separate, more expensive option at Vitra, and visually the difference between an office chair and an executive chair. Furthermore, everything you expect from this class: height-adjustable, synchronous tilt mechanism with adjustable counter-pressure, seat depth adjustment, and 3D armrests that can be set in height, width, and depth. This chair has hardly been used. The upholstery is intact, and the mechanism works as it should.
