The piece is sturdy, fully functional, and undamaged. Signs of wear are present. The bottom of one drawer shows slight discoloration.
➡️ Refurbishment:
The piece of furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. The top of the cabinet has been stained dark and varnished. Other visible surfaces, such as the sides, drawer fronts, and legs, have been revarnished. The remaining wooden surfaces have been intensively cleaned and treated with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
