This elegant sideboard from Knoll International impresses with its clean lines and high-quality craftsmanship.
Made of exquisite walnut, the body, with its warm grain, brings a touch of natural elegance to any room. The two sliding doors are finished in a deep black lacquer and open with discreet leather handles – a stylish detail that combines the simple form with a pleasing tactile element.
The piece rests on four understated metal legs, which lend the solid body a certain lightness.
The interior is spacious and functional: adjustable shelves allow for flexible storage – perfect for books, files, or decorative objects. A key is included, so the sideboard can be locked. This model was distributed by Wohnbedarf in Zurich, as evidenced by the original plaque inside the piece. The connection to wohnbedarf lends the sideboard a special cultural and historical significance, as the Zurich-based furniture store was a key institution for modern design in Switzerland for decades and maintained close partnerships with international designers such as Knoll.
