Beautiful set of two vintage Oase armchairs designed by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend De Cirkel. These beautiful, iconic industrial armchairs are true Dutch design classics, and the design of these chairs won the 'Signe d'Or' in 1959. One chair has the original red upholstery, the other (non-original) black. These chairs are in good condition, though they do show some signs of use, which is to be expected after more than 50 years. They offer a comfortable seat. Perfect for a retro or modern interior. The armrests are made of black Bakelite, which provides a beautiful contrast with the frame and upholstery. A timeless addition to any living space. Possibly for sale individually, but also very beautiful as a set. €350 each. Set of 2 €650. Dimensions: Height 77 cm. Width 59 cm. Depth 69 cm.
