Unique Space Age pendant lamp from the 1970s. The smoky brown acrylic shade with a wavy relief gives the lamp a futuristic look typical of this period. Combined with the white diffuser, this creates a pleasant, warm light. A real eye-catcher for lovers of vintage design.
This lamp was produced by Herda, a leading Dutch lighting manufacturer and market leader in the 1960s. The company collaborated with renowned designers such as Jaap Tiepel, Dirk Heyman, Margo van Dijk, and Willem van Oyen Sr. Since the end of production in 1997, original Herda lamps have become sought-after collector's items.
For a lamp over 60 years old, this example is in particularly beautiful condition. Naturally, there are slight signs of use consistent with its age, but there is no damage or noticeable defects.
