Gent, BelgiumView all items from this sellerExceptional chair designed by Pascal Bauer and Gigi Rigamonti in 2004. Produced by 'Sturm und Plastic', a spin-off company of La Rosa, a high-end mannequin producer in Milan (Italy).
The chair, also known as the 'Human Being' chairs, is reminiscent of ice - sculptures with trapped air bubbles. They became, among other things. used in the Star Trek Enterprise episode "The Aenar" as set decoration.
Acrylic plastic on a chromed steel frame. maker's mark on the underside of the seat.The chair is in very good condition, very minimal traces of use. The legs have some rust spots.
