Set of 6 original Knoll Brno chairs, designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe.
Probably from the 1980s
These are the so-called Flat Bar variant, featuring chrome-plated spring steel instead of tubular steel.
This also makes them very heavy, at approx. 20 kg per chair.
No brand engraved on the base, but the Knoll marks are woven into the underside of the seat.
The chairs show signs of wear, but are original. They can be used in a "Chabby Chic" style or serve as a basis for restoration. The price reflects this. The seat surfaces of all chairs are still in good condition. The seating comfort is truly unsurpassed. Not worn out. Can be upholstered immediately.
The fabric is a type of mohair, but it is an original Knoll fabric.
