A beautiful set of three (3) authentic Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) liqueur glasses, designed for the prestigious Viennese firm E. Bakalowits & Söhne around 1902.
These glasses are a quintessential example of the "Viennese Modernism" era. They were most likely executed by the renowned Bohemian glassworks Meyr’s Neffe (Adolfov), which collaborated closely with designers like Koloman Moser and Otto Prutscher for Bakalowits commissions.
Design Features:
Bowl (Kuppa): Elegant, slightly curved (geschweift) shape in a delicate light green / uranium green tint.
Optical Ribbing: The bowl features "optically ribbed" (optisch gerippt) vertical lines, creating a sophisticated play of light.
Stem & Base: Slender, high stem made of clear crystal glass, merging seamlessly into a flat round foot.
Style: Secessionist / Vienna Jugendstil.
