This mouth-blown Tropico carafe was designed by Göran Wärff for the Swedish glassworks Pukeberg. The design captivates with its striking, sculptural silhouette and characteristic color scheme, representing Scandinavian craftsmanship of the mid-century era.
The carafe is crafted from solid glass and features a flowing color gradient from deep blue at the top to a rich green at the bottom. A conical wooden stopper seals the vessel, creating a warm, natural contrast to the cool glass. The original Pukeberg label is still intact on the front, underscoring the authenticity of this piece.
The object is in very good, well-maintained condition and demonstrates the typical quality of Swedish glass art. The combination of colored glass and wood is characteristic of Scandinavian design of this period.
This carafe is ideal as a decorative element on a sideboard or in a display case. It blends seamlessly into vintage-inspired or modern, minimalist interiors and adds a subtle splash of color.
