A magnificent and immense antique 19th-century jug, made of pink ironstone, stamped Maison Bertrand Bordeaux France, from the “Anemone” collection.
A sumptuous decoration of blooming anemones and small butterflies in flight. The butterflies flutter all around the jug.
A wide, plump body.
A stylized floral garland border.
All in a soft pink hue.
Originally a wash jug, it can now be repurposed as a beautiful vase, a decorative object, or for practical use.
