Description: For the serious design collector: an exceptional and complete set of two original Foscarini Mite floor lamps. This iconic masterpiece was designed by the legendary designer Marc Sadler and won the highest Italian design award in 2001: the Compasso d'Oro. The Mite is world-famous for its innovative material mix of fiberglass and Kevlar/carbon fiber. This gives the slender, tulip-shaped lamps their unique, delicate texture. When the lamps are lit, the effect is truly breathtaking: the material filters the light in an atmospheric way along the entire length of the body, while simultaneously acting as a powerful uplighter that casts indirect light towards the ceiling.
