A beautiful Dutch design classic from the 60s-70s given a new look. This characterful pendant lamp was manufactured by lighting company Herda, a name that was a leading force in the Dutch lighting market for decades. Although the company no longer exists, the designs remain beloved by vintage design enthusiasts.
The lamp has been completely disassembled and carefully restored. It is fitted with a new socket and pull-cord. The woodwork has been sanded and re-stained, while the brass shade has been polished and shines beautifully once again.
Thanks to this restoration, the lamp has acquired a fresh, contemporary look without losing its authentic character. It is ready for a second life and can immediately take a prominent place above a dining table, in a living room, or in an office.
Given its age, the lamp is in particularly beautiful condition. There are only very light signs of use, consistent with an object approximately 60 years old. There is no significant damage.
