The Buffer lamp was designed by Wieke Somers for Pols Potten. The outside of the shade is made of porcelain and the inside is covered with gold-colored glass, creating a beautiful and soft light that is reflected beautifully. Also note how the cord is knotted around the top of the Buffer lamp. In short, a beautiful piece of Dutch design.
It has been hanging for a few years but is still in perfect condition. Included are the cord (we replaced the original with white/blue) and also a reinforcement wire (original, adjustable, and necessary because they are heavy!).
