Incredible MP-81 pair of lounge chairs with ottoman in black leather by Percival Lafer, Brazil 1970s
A highly comfortable an striking design. The structure of the seats is composed of two fiberglass shells welded together to create a single, rigid element. The solid wooden feet are attached to the structure by previously made wooden screw nuts, which can be tightened or disassembled. The back feet comes with two pins which hold the headrest, and therefore it becomes removable when wished.
All pieces come in its original black leather with nice patina, creating character. This design is a highly sought after model which combines comfort and breathtaking design.
Móveis Lafer, where Percival designed a wide range of products, played a substantial role in Brazilian furniture in the second half of the 20th century.
