This vintage classic Vitra Eames lounge chair is a timeless design icon. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956, this armchair is considered worldwide to be one of the most influential designs of the 20th century.
This armchair is produced by Vitra and is finished in premium black leather, and the characteristic wooden shell is made of “American Cherry” wood. The aluminum swivel base is finished in chrome. It has classic dimensions.
The chair is in very good condition, with very light signs of wear consistent with sporadic use; there are no structural defects. The leather is still supple and comfortable, and the construction is sturdy and stable. See photos.
