Pair of 2 French Antique upholstered Armchairs - Claude Sené Style from the late 19th Century
Artful Cabinetmaker's Work- the chairs are elaborately decorated with wood carvings from that period.
Both armchairs were reupholstered in the 1970s with this wonderful velour fabric-
framed in an off-white fabric border.
A comfortable, low Armchair with a upholsterd Backrest and padded Armrests .
Covered in gold-green/mustard striped velour - an excellent contrast to the dark walnut wood.
A beautiful very decorative Pair of Armchairs for your Living .
The price shown is for both armchairs.
Good vintage condition : very well preserved pieces - the velour upholstery is in very good condition; the frames show slight wear consistent with their age.
On each chair, one of the armrest adhesives has come slightly loose, as can be seen in the attached photos.
