A particularly refined piece of Dutch design from the 1960s:
the Zodiac D2080, designed by Ton A.C. Alberts and produced by Raak Amsterdam in 1966.
This lamp is a beautiful example of timeless modernist design, in which simplicity, use of materials, and balance come together perfectly.
Features:
• Original foot switch
• Cord of approximately 2 meters
• Grounded socket (also usable in the Netherlands)
• Opaline glass globe
• Resting in a warm rosewood frame
• Four elegant brushed metal legs
• In perfect condition; a small plastic cap is missing from one of the supports; almost invisible.
