A rare mid-century design floor lamp by the Swiss manufacturer BAG Turgi from the 1950s. The lamp is characterized by its elegant, delicate lines: Two slender, black lacquered metal arms emerge from a compact triangular base and branch organically into two differently designed lamp heads. One arm supports a conical metal reflector that diffuses the light indirectly upwards, providing pleasant ambient lighting. The second arm is fitted with a woven fabric shade that creates a warm, atmospheric light. Both arms have adjustable brass joints, allowing for flexible positioning of the light sources. The triangular metal base with brass accents provides a stable foundation and underscores the lamp's elegant mid-century aesthetic. The combination of black metal, brass details, and natural materials is typical of high-quality Swiss lighting from the 1950s.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. Light patina on the brass parts and minor signs of wear on the base and frame.
