The Knoll Studio Saarinen Tulip Dining Table is a classic design by Eero Saarinen. In 1957, Saarinen created a fantastic series of tables and chairs that would become known as the Tulip tables and chairs. A defining feature of this series is the base, consisting of a single leg that flows downward into a rounded foot. Saarinen wanted to put an end to the clutter of table and chair legs. In this table series, the foot is not only beautiful but also very practical. This allows the chairs and legs to move freely around and under the table.
