The 600 desk lamp from the French manufacturer JUMO is one of Charlotte Perriand's best-known lamp designs.
Designed in 1935, it was selected by Perriand himself for the 1949 "Le Bazar" exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
It is made of chrome-plated steel tubing and consists of a thin arm topped by a round screen and anchored to a heavy round base containing the switch.
The arm can be tilted forward and back and the screen can rotate 360 degrees, allowing the light to be projected in any direction.
The arm can be tilted up and down and the reflector rotates 360°.
The on and off switch is on the base.
The fitting is a bayonet.
