Iconic Scandinavian pendant lamp from the Multi-Lite design series by Louis Weisdorf, manufactured by LYFA in Denmark. The design combines clean geometric forms with functional elegance and is one of the defining lighting objects of Danish mid-century design.
Characteristic features include the two movable half-shells, which can be individually adjusted, allowing for flexible light control – from direct illumination to indirect, atmospheric light. The central cylinder ensures even light distribution, while the surrounding chrome ring gives the object a floating, almost architectural presence. This example is from the early original production run (not a re-edition) and bears the original LYFA mark. Additionally, the original sales tag from a furniture store in Tübingen is preserved, underscoring its authenticity and historical context.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-related wear. Light patina and minimal marks on the surfaces, but overall very well-maintained and in perfect working order.
