Moroso Tia Maria Dining Chair Set of 6 Designer: Enrico Franzolini, 2012. A carefully considered design begins with the frame and the quality of the supports. Ergonomics dictates the seating position. Two complementary approaches to comfort: support and envelopment. The chairs have an upholstered shell that rests on the base. The name, taken from the Caribbean liqueur made with coffee and rum, evokes a dual identity, alluding to a play of opposites. A posture that is both formal and informal, the symmetry and asymmetry of the armrests, the angularity and curve of the frame. All uses are permitted: waiting, resting, relaxing. Leather over polyurethane foam, suspended from the frame. The legs are tubular steel with a chrome finish. They are mounted on polypropylene glides. The upholstery is a beautiful, non-removable saddle leather. The seat height is 48 cm, the height to the top of the back is 84 cm, and the armrest height is 67 cm. Chair width 62 cm, depth 65 cm.
