An iconic piece of Italian design that has fully retained its expressive power after all these years. Also on display at the MoMA.
The Take a Line for a Walk was designed in 2002 by Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli for the Italian company Moroso — a guarantee of top design — inspired by capsules, cockpits, and the imagination of childhood dreams. The sculptural shell shape envelops you completely: a personal cocoon to unwind, rest your head, and let go of the outside world for a moment.
The chair features a steel frame with injected polyurethane foam and stands on a 4-star swivel base in anthracite powder-coated steel (RAL 7016). The upholstery is not removable — characteristic of this model. Condition is good: fabric structure intact, swivel mechanism smooth. ∙ Designer: Alfredo Häberli
