Extremely rare Moroso New Tone combination: Teardrop sofa and daybed. Moroso’s New Tone sofas combine innovative design (1989) with exceptional versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of interiors. The set includes one daybed (W 220 cm x D 95 cm x H 93 cm), perfect for relaxing, and one eye-catching teardrop-shaped sofa (1-4 seater; W 240 cm x D 95 cm x H 93 cm). They can be placed together to create an intimate, comfortable seating area, or used separately in smaller spaces or for a more dynamic layout. As the daybed is no longer listed in the Moroso catalogue, this refined combination of style and function is a truly unique and distinctive piece of contemporary design. The seats have softened slightly over time, so you sit a little deeper than when they were new. The stain on the backrest (Picture 6) is from a water leak, and the frayed edge was caused by cat scratches (Picture 7). However, the sofa structures are in excellent condition. They can be used as they are, or refurbished to become a truly unique showpiece and eye-catcher.
