The architect and designer Marcel Breuer, member of the Bauhaus faculty, was one of the most influential and innovative supporters of modernism in the 20th century.
Stamped "Exposition Paris 1925" on the bottom and signed on the base. Excellent craftsmanship.
The lamp is made of nickel-plated brass. It follows the Art Deco style with curved tubular brass, typical Breuer signature. Very stylish.
In excellent condition with no dents or missing pieces. Beautiful patina.
It is newly wired with a new switch. It works perfectly.
